(Pro) A QR code turns certificate verification into a single scan. Print it on a certificate and anyone can point their phone at it to confirm the certificate is genuine — no typing, no searching.
Generating a QR code
- Go to the QR Codes page in the Certificate Validator menu.
- Find the certificate you want — you can search the QR cards.
- Download the QR code, or add it to a print sheet.
Download and print options
- PNG — a single QR image, ideal for adding to a design.
- PDF — a print-ready single QR code.
- Multi-certificate QR PDF sheet — many QR codes on one printable sheet, perfect for a whole cohort.
Each QR code links to that certificate’s direct verification page, so scanning it shows the verified result instantly.
Requirement
QR generation needs the PHP GD extension, which most hosts include by default. If it isn’t available, the plugin shows a notice and QR features stay switched off until it’s enabled — your host can turn it on.
